The top level only works 18 hours a week total. ![]() As you climb higher in this branch, the amount of time you actually spend at work will keep going down. With Mentoring fitness as the daily requirement, you’ll find your Sim making lots of friends at the gym, even though the careers never demands them. Being confident at work also enables the “Schmooze with Boss” work mode, which increases your work performance like “Work Hard” does, but without the tense moodlets and sharp decline in fun. Confident is slightly easier to find moodlets to take with your Sim to work. The Body Builder Branch changes the ideal mood from energized to confident. Both also have a sweet looking and functional piece of exercise equipment as well. Both give you reward objects that generally focus on energizing and environment mood auras. Both continue wanting Fitness and Charisma as the two focused skills. ![]() The difference between the two branches are subtle. The two branches are Body Builder and Professional Athlete. The athletic career splits pretty early on, with your promotion to level 5 prompting you to pick a path. By working out and, more importantly, actively talking to other Sims while working out, you will build your charisma just about as fast as you build fitness, and make some friends along the way. If you have your Sim work out with other Sims present (best place being the Gym) they will satisfy their daily task (work out) as well as build their fitness skill. In fact, it is very easy to fulfill all of the early requirements all at the same time. The beginning four levels are pretty straightforward. The Sims 4 Athletic Career is one of ten careers available in the game.
